Bug Description
steps to reproduce:
0, boot up your up-to-date Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
1, press the "windows" button on your keyboard (between ctrl and alt on the left bottom)
2, type hexchat
3, press enter
behaviour: hexchat starts in its first instance. so far so good.
4, use alt-tab to make hexchat the topmost window
5, now minimize hexchat (the _ icon at the top right of the window)
behaviour: hexchat doesn't minimize to the app tray on the left of the screen, instead it minimizes to the status tray on the top right
user story: as an ubuntu user I got used to bring my apps to the foreground by repeating the steps 2-3 from above. so I'm going to do so now:
6, type hexchat
7, press enter
actual behaviour: a second instance of hexchat starts
desired behaviour: the already started instance of hexchat should be brought to foreground
if I could make hexchat to minimize to the apps tray that would be great (there's no settings for it as far as I can tell)
thank you for the fix in advance.
