synaptic crashed with SIGSEGV in pkgRecords::Lookup()

it's happened in the last few minutes when i tried to update OOo and when i click apply button, it freezes and then after 1 minute of waiting it crashes, for 3-rd time, so i use cli to get the updates.

what i find curious is that i got the submit report prompted not right after the crash but at start up after having rebooted

What does this mean? Do you not experience the issue on Raring, only
on older releases?

Had just experienced this issue again in Raring 13.04

(in QEMU-KVM VM's) In both Ubuntu studio & Ubuntu Std raring ringtail. After a sudo apt-get update/upgrade.
Synaptic crashes in option filter Status.
While selecting Not installed (residual config) option and clicking with the mouse inside the package content window.
It looks like synaptics does not handle well the residual config package lookup.
