Bug Description

This issue was unexpected, given this box is used mostly for QA_test installs, and rare support (testing) using the prior QA_test install.

- hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)

full disk install with encryption, internet

As a full disk install, what was on it shouldn't matter, but it was last used I believe in QA-test install of Xubuntu 22.04.1 (full disk then subsequent install.alongside/auto-resize), followed by Ubuntu-MATE 22.04.1 (install.alongside/auto-resize)... ie. a number of partitions, and as ubiquity installs have occurred also a ESP.

Lubuntu 20.04 installs with this ISO were (3) being -

* first install was with internet & encryption ; failure & this report.

* rebooted & tried again with same settings & same failure.

* rebooted & tried a third time, internet was disconnected & no-encryption was used; same issue.

After this, I grabbed the Lubuntu 22.04.1 RC (released image though my zsync was pre-release) & it installed perfectly (erasing whatever was on the disk).

It's now the next day, so new daily ISO & installs perfectly, as I expected yesterday but had issues resulting in this bug report.

I've experienced this today 3x.. on
- hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)

2x - original install with encryption (+ repeat attempt after reboot)
1x - same install without encryption

after this I grabbed the 22.04.1 RC (release image) & installed that without issue on same box.
