I would usually recommend installing an official NVIDIA driver but in this case it appears the GeForce 9500 GT is only supported up to NVIDIA driver version 340 which itself is no longer supported. Still, that might work...

Please open the Additional Drivers app and see if it offers you a better graphics driver.
