Bug Description

I installed a fresh 3.2 MAAS using the doc here : https://maas.io/docs/how-to-install-maas
MAAS was successfully installed, but it seems that there is a bug because my “Controllers” page is empty, even though the rack controller is running on the same node.

This happen using snap and the package version in ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04.

There is a discussion on discourse.maas.io:

I also see this in my local virtual maas env.

and I tried to run maas $PROFILE controllers read but there is no controllers subcommand.

so I ran maas $PROFILE rack-controllers read.

and It is here

Hi, the subcommand does not exist according to maas:
argument COMMAND: invalid choice: 'controllers' (choose from 'login', 'logout', 'list', 'refresh', 'init', 'config', 'status', 'migrate', 'reconfigure-supervisord', 'apikey', 'configauth', 'config-tls', 'createadmin', 'changepassword')

Apologies, the command(s) should actually be:

maas $PROFILE rack-controllers read

and

maas $PROFILE region-controllers read

I am asking another client that is experiencing the same issue to collect this data sample as well.

It appears the issue is when the controller has an unlinked interface, it still tries to find a VLAN associated with that interface to count whether it's HA or Not.
