Bug Description

Ubuntu 22.04LTS

Related to bug: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-105062

Not only cheese has this problem, also the "Camera" program of ubuntu has the same freeze problems.

When I start cheese from the command line, it reports:

>cheese

(cheese:87986): cheese-WARNING **: 10:38:26.334: Er worden veel buffers gedropt.: ../libs/gst/base/gstbasesink.c(3143): gst_base_sink_is_too_late (): /GstCameraBin:camerabin/GstViewfinderBin:vf-bin/ClutterGstVideoSink:cluttergstvideosink0:
There may be a timestamping problem, or this computer is too slow.

The image freezes and there's no camerastream.

WebCamoid does not have these problems.

Is not the same as my problem.
The video freezes, but I'm still able to take pictures.
The application is responsive.

When I add a second camera device (A silvercrest dia slide scanner), it results in the same problems. It also continually seems to be busy with adjusting the white-balance with this device.

pinhole does not freeze, but is very slow and adjusting white-balance continually.
When I switch between devices, the camera stream freezes, just like cheese.

The following programs do not have problems with the streams:

* Zoom - works with both my webcam and the Silvercrest Dia Scanner
* MS Teams for Linux - works with the webcam
* Webcamoid - works with both my webcam and the Silvercrest Dia Scanner
