snap slack can't login

I was able to login with this desktop version of snap slack until today.

The desktop app asks me to login, which opens the browser login, and upon login presents the "Open with dxg-open", which opens the desktop app, but does not load the account.

The in-browser slack app lets me into my workplace.

Slack support says nothing is wrong (sent them debug info).

Slack support had me download the rpm slack-4.26.1-0.1.fc21.x86_64.rpm, convert to a deb with alian, and install the deb, and this app loads just fine and shows my workspace.

The snap version was working until today (there was a security update, but I rebooted after installing it).

I would like to move back to the 'snap slack' version ASAP so that I can remain current.
