Bug Description

Audacity 2.4.2 in Ubuntu 21.10 and 22.04 (kinetic) has the same bug : impossible to export (save) an AAC file (m4a). The file could be open, read (play music), modify (for exemple cut a part of it). But it can't be save.
"FFmpeg : ERROR - encoding frame failed"

After the message, Audacity loose is ability to read (play) the AAC file.

Test on many AAC files, from differents origines : same problem.

Ubuntu-restricted-extras and FFmpeg are instaled :

apt policy ffmpeg (in impish)

ffmpeg:
  Installé : 7:4.4-6ubuntu5
  Candidat : 7:4.4-6ubuntu5
 Table de version :
 *** 7:4.4-6ubuntu5 500
        500 http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu impish/universe amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

apt policy ubuntu-restricted-extras

ubuntu-restricted-extras:
  Installé : 67
  Candidat : 67
 Table de version :
 *** 67 500
        500 http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu impish/multiverse amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

the export is possible with Audacity in Appimage. It is the Debian/Ubuntu version wich faile.
So it is probably an option of compilation or a default parameter which cause this problem.
