trying to play a .mov video with totem i have the message "The specified movie could not be found"

after removing gstreamer1.0-vaapi the problem DISAPPEAR

installing intel-media-va-driver-non-free instead of intel-media-va-driver seems to workaround the issue

I had the same problem on a new Ubuntu 22.10 install from ISO dated 2022-07-18 08:39 with an .mp4 and the problem disappear installing intel-media-va-driver-non-free
