Thanks for your submission.

Marking as Confirmed. Need more authoritative description for virtual kernel. Is this a kernel that acts as a host to multiple virtual machines? Or is this a virtual kernel that resides as one of many virtual machines managed by a host operating system.

yes, that useless description remains "This package will always depend on the latest kernel image available for virtual machines."

What is this kernel for?

linux hosting virtual machines?
guest linux running in linux host?
kernel optimized for virtual machines?
kernel intended for parallel virtualization?

Although the description may not be as clear as some would like, the original bug was filed because it was wrong. The package description no longer refers to the "latest rt kernel", but does instead refer to:

Complete Linux kernel for virtual machines
This package will always depend on the latest complete Linux kernel available
for virtual machines.

Changed in linux (Ubuntu):
status: New → Fix Released
