Bug Description

The conduit "mail" from palm-conduits has, as default sendmail command, the
string "/usr/lib/sendmail -t -i"

but ubuntu (at least ubuntu-live) does not have any sendmail on it.

could the message be copied to evolution outbox folder so it would be send for it?

I posted this bug against breezy live, as far as I can recall, because there's
no mta on it.

Shouldn't then gnome-pilot depend (or recommend) some mta then? This would made
it unusable in live...

Instead of "sendmail", a call to the uri mailto: would be better, and it would
make the command work on live cd.
mailto:<email address hidden>?attachment=/tmp/myfile.txt&attachment=/tmp/myotherfile.txt

Is this still the same problem in Edgy? A new version was uploaded.

Seems to still be a problem in Feisty.

Somebody of the Desktop team should forward this to upstream.
