Bug Description

Binary package hint: anjuta

Anjuta wants to run 'django-admin.py', but the python-django package installs 'django-admin'.

Also, python-django wasn't installed with Anjuta when I installed Anjuta through gnome-app-install.

Anjuta should Recomment/Suggest python-django. In addition installing python-django on Karmic does not appear to work (possibly the file has moved?)

Changed in anjuta (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Triaged

A temporary solution is: sudo ln -s /usr/bin/django-admin /usr/bin/django-admin.py
Works for me.

It would have really helped if the bug was reported upstream. Fixed: http://git.gnome.org/browse/anjuta/commit/?id=94051ed30e08138fd3ad22d7b91cbae264d4e319
