Bug Description
Binary package hint: hal
I was copying a large files over the smb network using Nautilus from one machine to another when this happened.
I'm using Ubuntu Hardy 64bit 2.6.24-10 kernel.
hal-0.5.10-5ubuntu7
This brought my laptop to a crawl for a good 10 minutes, nothing were responding, even the mouse hardly moved.
