Ubuntu 7.10 Wireless conection C300RC vs Xavi 7868

hello everyone
I have a router from Telefonica, a Xavi (Amper) 7868 with a wireless connection 128bits Wep Encryption. The problem is that with I look for the wireless is asking me the password, and when i put the password in capital letters doesn't connect to my wireless. :(
what should i do?? I have try with other wireless connexions but if there is WEP encryption is not connecting.

do you still experience this issue with the current version of the software?, if so, could you please include your /var/log/syslog file, just after you experience this issue.
