Window does not display

When I start Gnome Encfs Manager from the icon, nothing happens. Although it seems to be started in the background, since it responds with "Another instance is already running." when I run "gnome-encfs-manager" in the terminal.
The I have to do "killall gnome-encfs-manager" to stop it again.

When I then start Gnome Encfs Manager from the terminal it responds with
Using Classic TrayIcon

(gnome-encfs-manager:3161): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 15:48:13.391: gtk_widget_get_scale_factor: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

and thats all, nothing else happends.

I tested this on Gnome with Wayland and Xmonad with X11. It was working before, I suspect a Gnome/ GTK update from the last few weeks.
