Thanks for your bug report, I'll forward it to the upstream author.

It this crash reproducible or did it only happen the first time?

Hello,

This is Jordi, the program's main author.

This bug is caused by the mono libraries not by the application itself. Other applications like f-spot are suffering the same issue:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/f-spot/+bug/123764

I hope that the mono libraries will be updated soon in Hardy to correct this issue.

Jordi,

Jordi, thanks for this information. I'm marking it as duplicate.
Do you have any information about the fix in the libraries? Can it be extracted somehow, or is there a new bugfix only release available for the libs?
