Bug Description

I know that Wubi is no longer maintained, but the official website wubi-installer [dot] org appears to have been hacked.

Please be aware that it contains NSFW content (no images, fortunately, just text).

I tried to get hold of the contact listed on the Privacy page, but that email address is no longer valid.

The website is using outdated WordPress CMS software.

It might an idea either to let the website close down, or to replace the website with a landing page leading to the newer fork wubiuefi. Or, maybe you can think of a better idea.

Newer fork (wubiuefi)

Thank you for reporting this issue. I have removed the links to this site from https://launchpad.net/wubi, but unfortunately I also don't have current contact information for the owner of that site.

@vorlon — Thank you, Steve. Do you whom I can ask to try to track down the owner? It's not good for Wubi's reputation.

I do not. It has literally been over a decade since I've had any contact with the Wubi developer, and nearly that long since we have included Wubi in an Ubuntu release.
