Xenial powerpc repositories missing

I have Lubuntu 16.04 powerpc installed on my Mac Mini G4. The repositories aren't working anymore: In http://ports.ubuntu.com/dists/xenial-updates/ the Release and InRelease files are missing the powerpc architecture; and Xenial is not present in http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/

How can this be fixed?

Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) reached end-of-standard-support on April 29, 2021.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test. If you then find the bug is still present in the newer Ubuntu version, please add a comment here telling us which new version it is in. FYI: You'll need to be using ppc64el for later releases, which was the only powerpc architecture supported from 16.04/xenial & later (it won't run on your old mac mini)
