owncloud exits immediately with “segmentation fault”

When starting “owncloud”, it exists immediately with a “segmentation fault”. Tested on a fresh Jammy.

I tried installing the deb with get-deb, says
ERROR! owncloud-client_2.6.3.14058+dfsg-1_amd64.deb is not a supported app

after installing the appropriate (jammy) version at indicated by Torsten from
https://download.owncloud.com/desktop/ownCloud/stable/latest/linux/download/
everything ok. The package includes qt-5.15.2 version!.

The ownCloud client seems to work on Ubuntu 23.10. Can somebody confirm this?

Yeah, it (kinda) works. The package in Ubuntu 23.10 is version 2.11.0 which suffers from another annoying bug, see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1037133, fixed upstream in 2.11.1. So it's still highly recommended to use the upstream package from the developer's website.
