open-isns (0.96-4) unstable; urgency=medium

  * debian/tests: refactor code, show isnsd status if auth test fails
  * Rename libisns0-udeb to libisns-nocrypto0-udeb.
    The udeb only contains the library required for future open-iscsi
    versions (there is no need to run an iSNS server in a d-i
    environment), which is the variant that's not linked against OpenSSL
    to be compatible with the GPL. In contrast to libisns0, which
    contains both versions of the library (including the OpenSSL-linked
    libisns.so.0), the package name of the udeb should reflect the name
    of the library included.

  * Build a -nocrypto variant that doesn't link against OpenSSL.
    (Required for GPL programs linking against libisns.)

  * debian/patches: fix FTBFS on hurd-i386
  * debian/open-isns-server.postinst: prevent hang on sysvinit systems

 -- Christian Seiler <email address hidden> Sun, 24 Jul 2016 21:57:27 +0200

open-isns (0.96-1) unstable; urgency=low

I handled the open-isns merge for jammy and sent .101 to debian as a merge request. They responded but have been busy with other things for a while. I can handle this one by getting debian's additional fixes into ubuntu and hopefully help them get .101 uploaded so this can become a sync

Went through the current state of debian/sid and found that all patches they have were applied in ubuntu/devel in 0.101. For now there is nothing to do, but if open-isns moves to 0.102 then I will add it in. I'll keep working on getting debian to update to 0.101

Thanks for the work! I did another NMU with version 0.2 and the last Ubuntu fixes and synced some minutes ago (basically the delta was about missing isnssetup binary, and I also fixed some translation bug)
