Bug Description

Hi,

Trying to install ubuntu-22.04-live-server-amd64.iso on a server Dell PowerEdge R640

Get the error:

"cloud-init failed to complete after 10 minutes of waiting"

Are you using the Virtual ISO/image feature of the BMC?

You might have better luck if you interrupt boot and add fsck.mode=skip to the kernel command line.

Well, adding `fsck.mode=skip` worked for me. I was able to install using IPMI IKVM mounted ISO on a Supermicro motherboard.

I tested with the IPMI on my private LAN (100Mbps) and also on a public internet line limited to 20Mbps, both worked where they failed before.
