Bug Description
I'm once again attempting to install Ubuntu.
Once again it crashed.
Once again I'm posting this to you:
I'm trying to do a "clean installation of Ubuntu 22.04LTS
I generally fail to be able to get Boinc-manager running under Ubuntu.
Because of this I always fall back to using some other operating system - I'm currently using Zorin 16 64-bit, but usual end up using Linux Mint debian edition - which sometimes fails because it gets some piece of software I can't remove from my display, given that I am NOT even able to get BOINC to run on Ubuntu anything so far - it ran for years on my old computer (ASUS with an AMD processor with 8 cores running 4ghz/core), but my caretaker opted to take it to the dump when I wasn't able to get it to restart at some point because I mucked up its BIOS inadvertently...
I'm NOT a programmer, but AM a bicyclist (person who regularly rides a bicycle?) and am geriatric (78 years old). I am in a retirement facility in Port Townsend, WA, which is an area that is 'proud' of the fact it's home to 'thousands' of "Rain gardens", many of which have signs to that effect sitting in them next to lawns,etc...
My e.mail address is <email address hidden> if you need to get hold of me.
Thanks and Later,
-Tim-
(TBI = Traumatic Brain Injured - this would be because 20 years ago I managed to hit a herd of deer on my bicycle going through a corner at about 35mph (downhill corner that had several cars parked on the side of the (recently paved rural) road in Oregon, which put me into a hospital for about a year under the "Oregon Health Plan", which was terminated by the Federal Government because it was apparently an incursion on an area they hold to be Federal rather than "State" - subsequently I was taken over by the VA, which pays my rent in here in 'my' retirement facility, thankfully)
