Bug Description

The new screenshot tool with the video recording feature keeps crashing every time I try to record a part of my screen or the whole screen. The red timer shows up for less than a second on the top right of my screen and then it disappears. I've tried restarting my PC but it doesn't fix it. I have also tried OBS Studio to see if it crashes there, but it doesn't. Only the new screenshot tool in Ubuntu 22.04 does it. Screenshotting works fine, only the video recording has a problem.

Thank you for your bug report, could you do this

$ apport-collect 1970605

after triggering the issue?

also how did you report the issue (wondering how it ended up with 'xorg' as the source with no package set on launchpad)

affects: xorg (Ubuntu) → gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
Changed in gnome-shell (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete
