Running Pop-OS 22.04 (ubuntu 22.04)

Variety has worked on POP-OS for many years, and many versions. Under POP-OS (UBUNTU) 21.10 and previous versions, Variety ran perfectly.

Now, under 22.04, Variety launches, the software runs, except there is a big problem. Variety no longer changes wallpapers on my screen. I think Variety is under the impression that the wallpapers are changing, however, variety has no impact on which wallpaper is displayed.

Under 22.04, the only way to change the wallpaper is to use the standard POP-OS (Ubuntu) display settings UI to pick a new wallpaper.

I am using Ubuntu 22.04 and Variety is simply not changing the wallpapers as it used to in the previous version of Ubuntu.

Please upgrade to v0.8.7 - the PPA has the latest release for Ubuntu 22.04
