Password not accepting in Software Sources

Bug Description

Software Sources in Discover is not accepting my password.

I am able to update, install and uninstall packages from discover but unable to get into software sources. This happens in a new install as well after upgrade from 21.10 to 22.04

THis is the message I get in the popup box where it asks for my password.

Permission denied.
Possibly incorrect password, please try again.
On some systems, you need to be in a special group (often: wheel) to use this program
