Bug Description

Like the previous proposed 42.0-1ubuntu3 packaging of gdm3, the proposed 42.0-1ubuntu4 prevents Wayland from being used on a X570 UD v1.1 motherboard with 5600X processor and Nvidia GT 1050 graphics card. This proposed change in the gdm3 should be considered a blocker as it defeats the upgrade to using Wayland in 20.04 LTS.

I had to downgrade to gdm3_42.0-1ubuntu2_amd64 to fix blank screen after boot. RTX2060 running on nvidia 510.60.02. When gdm3 actually starts with working image there's no problem logging in to a wayland session.

42.0-1ubuntu4 seems to block Wayland on *every* GPU, so it's not really a good way to test NVIDIA support I would say.
