Kindle - Windows 11 - Communication error

Since my laptop has been updated to W11, I have the following message when connecting my Kindle Paperwhite (5.12.2).
calibre, version 5.40.0
ERREUR : Erreur: Erreur pendant la communication avec le périphérique

[Errno 22] Invalid argument: 'D:\\metadata.calibre'

I can copy files to my Kindle without using Calibre.

Delete the file D:\metadata.calibre and/or reboot your kindle and/or
reset your kindle.
