Bug Description

I configure Déjà Dup for weely backup but next backup occurs 5 day later so my backup never occurs the day I want.

I’m using

Ubuntu 20.04 up to date.
Déjà Dup version : 40.7

Fair complaint. Our scheduling options are not very advanced. You can see a discussion ticket for different possible options to improve that here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/deja-dup/-/issues/111

But to address what you're seeing, the week isn't 5 days. It's just that we have an internal notion of when the weekly backup would happen and that doesn't change because of enabling/disabling auto backups. So like, if we think backups are gonna happen this next Saturday, and you flip the switch on Tuesday, you'll see "four days from now" but if you do it on Friday, you'll see "tomorrow".

We currently don't allow just choosing the day that auto-backups happen, sorry. I'm going to close this, since it's not really a bug and the feature-request/discussion side of things is captured in the above linked ticket.
