Bug Description

FTBFS on kernels without wifi

this dkms module attempts to build itself for kernels that do not support wifi (i.e. linux-kvm)

adapt dkms.conf such that a build is not attempted on wifi-less kernels, and such combinations are skipped. This improves end user experience, and makes autopkgtestest pass.

FTBFS on v5.17+ kernels

cherrypick upstream patch to fix compat with v5.17.
