Manual partitioning requires "esp" flag on /boot/efi partition, but that flag isn't offered as an option, and the "boot" flag mysterious makes the warning go away

Bug Description

Installing Lubuntu 20.04.

Opted for manual partitioning of my disks.

Created a /boot/efi partition with no flags.

After hitting NEXT from the partioning screen, I see a "What is your name?" screen, but a dialog box pops up with an warning.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Title: EFI system partition flag not set

Contents:
An EFI System partition is necessary to start Lubuntu

A partion was configured with mount point /boot/efi but its esp flag was not set.

To set the flag, go back and edit the partition.

You can continue without setting the flag but your system may fail to start.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

But going back, "esp" isn't one of the available flags offered on the "Create a Partition" dialog.

I tried setting the "boot" flag for /boot/efi instead, and I was able to pass through to the next screen without seeing that warning.

If I remove the "boot" flag for /boot/efi, the warning is displayed again.

I'm guessing that the "esp" flag requirement is outdated, and it should be changed to a "boot" flag requirement. Probably the wording of this dialog box needs to change.

As it stands, it is very confusing.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Bug reporting is about finding & fixing problems thus preventing future users from hitting the same bug.

I suspect a Support site would be more appropriate, eg. https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu. You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or https://ubuntuforums.org, or for more support options please look at https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-support/709

(example of a question/answer maybe https://askubuntu.com/questions/1273421/lubuntu-installer-giving-error-after-partition-creation-your-system-may-or-may)

For specific Lubuntu support you can use their forum/discourse (https://discourse.lubuntu.me/), or https://lubuntu.me/links/ for other links.

ESP is a shortened way of writing EFI System partition.

Lubuntu uses the `calamares` installer; and that is the message chosen by the Calamares team to refer to that flag given it's official name (where I suspect a clear consise english message wouldn't allow for the correct [definition] keywords to be used).

If you believe it's a bug that needs correction; I'll suggest you file it upstream at https://github.com/calamares/calamares/issues

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.
