Grid Configurations require a relog to apply as expected

Bug Description
When removing a grid configuration from Workstation settings, it will continue to apply until you log out.
Steps to recreate:
1. Navigate to an item in the catalog
2. Open the column width editor
3. Increase the Holdable? column three times
4. Under Grid Settings, safe the Grid Configuration
5. Refresh the page to confirm the save worked
6. Navigate to Workstation Settings -> Stored Preferences -> Server Workstation Prefs
7. Remove the Grid Configuration you've just saved for eg.grid.
8. Navigate back to the item in the catalog
9. See that the saved configuration still applies

I believe we've fixed this in the grid work done on bug 1615781, but please re-open if I'm incorrect. Marking as a duplicate.
