The spinner animation in the panel (when an app is launching) has hiccups and jumps periodically.

You'll need to launch a big/slow app to see the issue though. Seems to happen with Firefox for me.

When launching firefox snap, and keep the mouse cursor over the dock or top panel
the spinner animation takes 5sec loading, but i dont see hiccups, feels rather stable on my side

Maybe it's specific to high-DPI? I'm using scale 200%

I can confirm the problem on my 22.04 VM.
I've got a 1080p screen and I don't use scaling.

But is the problem also present using the default GS theme + Yaru icons or Yaru GS theme + Adwaita icons or both default theme and icons?

The problem is that my VM crashed and I can't start it, so I can't test this at once.
I'm downloading the latest ISO, but it would be nice if anyone could test this.

I found the problem: one image of the animation is misaligned.
