Bug Description
Some videos may not play on all versions of vlc in ubuntu repos (all 3.0.X versions which is currently used in all currently supported ubuntu releases)
Upstream VLC 4.0.X has fixed this with https:/
A patch is attached here by me to show the changes necessary for bionic 3.0.8 but all LTS versions should have this patch applied as well.
