Bug Description

Binary package hint: hardware-monitor

Whenever I change the font preferences in hardware-monitor, invidiual characters, or sometimes the whole string, will change between my set font and the default. It continues even if I set it back to the default.

Although I'm using Trebuchet in my example, it doesn't matter if it is a user-installed font vs. system font or OpenType vs. TrueType

Current preferences:

Devices:
 * Disk (/home) -- show free space
 * Memory

Viewer:
 * Text
 * Trebuchet, 10px (previous was Sans 12px)

Background:
 * Use panel background

NOTE: I'm running Gutsy and hardware-monitor 1.4-2ubuntu0
