rtl8821ce driver throws kernel warning about every 1500 seconds

I'm running KDE Neon User Edition, fully updated.
The rtl8821ce dkmn from the repository would not make a reliable connection so I used
https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce
to install it. Installing the 5.13.0-1029-oem kernel made the difference, making the connection strong and reliable. However, the logs are filling up with the following warning.
