Cannot take screen shot if Drop Down menu is "dropped"

Bug Description
gnome-screenshot does not take a screen shot if you have a menu up.
Steps to reproduce:
- In a default Ubuntu install, login and click on the Applications menu from the Top toolbar
- Hit the print screen button
Result: Nothing happens.
Expected: Take the screen shot! :)
Additional info:
I'm using a Dell latitude D531 (ATI video card)
Compiz fusion is installed, but i have it disabled.

I can confirm this bug. When any of the drop down menu is present (i.e. menu is out and dropped), the print screen button does nothing when pressed. When I undrop the menu and press the print screen button, it shows the print screen dialog box to save the printer screen.
