Inkspace won't start

I downloaded Inkscape 0.45.1 and I have OS X.5.2. When I open Inkscape, both Inkscape and X11 open and a small blank box appears in the upper right of my screen. I went into /Inkscape/Contents/Resources/script and ran it, and this is what I got.

are you using the new leopard friendly version of 0.45.1?

yes I am. I tried to throw out the first version I got and most of the stuff said it was "still in use". Anyway, I downloaded a new copy from the link you sent and it didn't work either.

This was with a now unsupported version of Inkscape. A newer version (0.46) is available. Given that as well as the lack of followup on this issue, this bug will be closed. If you continue to have the same problem with the newer version, please feel free to reopen the bug report.
