Bug Description
When I copy/paste some text (e.g. from the browser) into gnome-terminal, sometimes there are additional characters.
E.g. I wanted to paste "sudo apt install systemd-oomd", but obtained "^[[200~sudo apt install systemd-oomd~" instead.
P.S.
This behaviour does not happen every time, I noticed that it seems related to me mistakenly pressing Ctrl+V instead of Ctrl+Shift+V when pasting. Not sure what it does, but it's definitely confusing. I noticed this behaviour only after updating to 22.04, I was on 20.04 before.
