Monit filesystem module fails on Ubuntu 20.04 on AWS EC2 instances

Bug Description

Monit is unable to read filesystem information on Ubuntu 20.04 on EC2 instances.

I get the error -

[UTC Jan 21 07:52:31] error : filesystem statistic error: cannot read /sys/class/block/root/stat -- No such file or directory

This is with the latest version.

# lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu

# monit --version

There's an issue already opened :
https://bitbucket.org/tildeslash/monit/issues/937/ubuntu-server-minimal-2004-error

The solution is to upgrade do monit 5.27.2.

Could this patch be backported?

Yeah I hope it is backported, because 5.27.2 is not compatible with 20.04 - so it's not really a solution for me as I can't upgrade the OS.
