Bug Description

I'm trying to record my QA testing on http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/429/builds/243243/testcases/1701/results/

My normal procedure is

- start QA-test report on iso.qa.ubuntu recording the box & intention of test (it's marked IN PROGRESS)
- open to add details as issues occurs, eg. on entering details into the calamares installed an issue occurs; so I edit the report I started earlier & record the bug
- when completed; I edit the report again & either FAIL or PASS the test & add any additional final comments.

The result is the page is used multiple times per QA-test.

** Issue & Actual Experience

On hitting the EDIT link (http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/429/builds/243243/testcases/1701/results/89100/edit) there is a LONG PAUSE before anything occurs; the pause can be up to 20 seconds.

ie. web site is too slow

** Expected Outcome & Experience

Page won't take as long and sit with only a bouncing-DOT in the top of the TAB on firefox.. Nothing shows on the actual page, it just sits for 5-20 seconds before new detail is shown.

Issue is pages are very slow

NOTE: I've had another Lubuntu QA-tester report the same to me 24 days ago now; so it's not new. From the discussion we hoped (my suggestion) it was just a temporary condition relating to Christmas/New Year, alas it's remained this way. The ~24 days maybe helpful in timing, but the issue was noted before then too; that was date of discussion on site.

I am also affected.

I've timed it and it has progressively grown slower - sometimes taking almost a minute to load a page. I think my record (on fairly acceptable broadband) was ~55 seconds to open the report page.

This is quite disruptive. It may seem trivial to folks who don't use the site regularly, but it's amazingly disruptive. Sure, it's just a minute - but those add up when it's every time, and every step, while filing your daily reports.

It's a definite annoyance.

Is anything being done on this?

We're about to release the Ubuntu 22.04 beta; and I'm still getting server errors rather regularly on iso.qa.ubuntu.com (web site failed to respond, try again later in firefox).

Example of errors vary, most as per prior comment are only firefox messages that suggest site might be down, try again later etc..

But also today

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /qatracker/milestones/429/builds/246318/testcases/1701/results.

Reason: Error reading from remote server
