Inkscape need suport export for Synfig Animation Studio - http://synfig.org/ a very good animation tool 2D open source, here this document about of integration with SVG http://synfig.org/Svg2synfig

OR... maybe synfig needs to support importing Inkscape SVGs? Realistically, action going both ways would be excellent.

Inkscape trunk (0.48+devel) includes a new svg2sif output extension (committed in r10750).
