Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

This is not reproducible.
This may be related to the X server or the window manager...
Sometimes, a graphical element from a web page gets stuck on all virtual desktops
and the only way to get rid of it is to close the whole Firefox application.

Package: firefox-3.0 3.0~b3+nobinonly-0ubuntu2

maybe you can capture a screenshot of this situation?

Are there sites that can reliably trigger this?

Maybe this is due to some extension/plugin used?

I will if/when this happens again.
Reliably: unfortunately, no. An exemple I remember: I noticed it once on ratp.fr

In this final tab, some bold blue words would get stuck on other virtual desktops (KDE 3).
