Bug Description
Reproduction steps:
Launch application.
Tick
* Sound from speakers
* Sound from microphone
Record an hour plus technical demonstration with lots of technical info you want to be able to refer back to.
Finish recording and save.
Discover it didn't record any sound from the other end of the call.
Curse application to the fiery pits of damnation.

I have identified the problem - the sound source selected in preferences is not my earphones, but my speakers.
Ok, fair enough, maybe I am somewhat to blame, but since the speakers are not selected as the default output device and the source selection is hidden in the preferences rather than putting it up front, where it's obvious, I'm still going to be grumpy and call it a bug.
If you would rather, call it a feature request that the sources drop downs be on the main GUI window next to the tick boxes.
