wishlist: clock applet should have date formatting possibilities

Bug Description

An example: my company works a lot with weeknumbers. A clock applet that would
allow date-like syntaxes (date +%W) would be ideal!

Thanks for your bug. Is that your issue due to week numbers? There is a gconf
key for them as described by http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=167753

It's not exactly what I meant (complete freedom in how the date is displayed
before the calendar is opened), but it's good enough for me :) Thanks a lot!

No problem. I'm closing this bug as NOTABUG since that's not really one and
having the choice to configure whatever format to use would make the
configuration quite complicate with no real use. Feel free to reopen if you
disagree.
