Bug Description

After a fresh install of Hardy Alpha5, setting the locale with "Language selector" to Italian and the default language to Italian, after login, when loading GNOME, an error appears:

It says, in Italian:
"La lingua it_IT non esiste, sarà usata La predefinita di sistema"

Roughly translated it says:
"The locale it_IT doesn't exists, will be use the Default"

The default language, obviously, is Italian. Giving `locale -a' in a terminal, I have "it_IT.utf8", but in '/etc/locale.alias' I have "italian it_IT.ISO-8859-1".
