Bug Description

My laptop, HP model 17-y028cy, does not resume after the display has been shut off for inactivity. The computer starts back up and the display does turn on, but nothing is displayed on my screen. It doesn't appear to respond to any key presses so I have to force it to power down and back up by holding the power button until it shuts off.

Jordan Christiansen (xordspar0) wrote (last edit ):

I have the same issue. In Gnome on Wayland or GDM on Wayland, my system is unresponsive after resuming from suspend. The screen is black and switching to other VTs is impossible. This does not happen if I'm logged in to a Gnome on Xorg session at the time of the suspend.

I have an Intel CPU and GPU.
