Bug Description
after reinstalling 8.04 a5, and restricted extra's, java is not working. Firefox does not have the plugin registered. and asks for the installation of the plugin. when selecting java6, the plugin-installer responds that it is already installed and requires restart of firefox, which does not have the plugin registering.

Confirmed. Happens also, when java6 is installed through Firefox's plugin installer (as, java6 isn't already installed on system).
