Bug Description
Debian currently has a release candidate of php8.1 staged in their git tree (and visible in rmadison as uploaded to new?) It's VCS is:

I'd like to get this into the jammy universe archive quickly, to permit work on the main PHP 8.1 transition to be completed prior to the start of the upcoming openssl 3 transition. Otherwise these two transitions risk becoming intertwined.
php8.1 will be a new package, but is not in the sync-blacklist.
I've uploaded Debian's git branch of php8.1 to my PPA. It hasn't finished building for all architectures but at least amd64 and arm64 appear to have succeeded:
