System crash after upgrade from 2104 to 2110 due to Citrix Workspace app 2109 for Linux

upgrade from 2104 to 2110.
upgrade crashed and i have always this error message
when i call a command with sudo
/usr/local/lib/AppProtection/libAppProtection.so: undefined symbol: _dl_sym, version GLIBC_PRIVATE

The error occurs with installed Citrix Workspace app 2109 for Linux Release Date: Sep 28, 202
I have the same bug with a new installed Ubuntu 2110 after installing the Citrix Workspace.

Remark: on ubuntu 2104 the Citrix software worked without problems

Quick fix is to mount the filesystem in a live environment and delete the file /usr/local/lib/AppProtection/libAppProtection.so. Then your system can run again and you can clean things up.

In the release notes of citrix workspace app:
"We recommend not to install Citrix Workspace app with app protection enabled on operating systems that use glibc 2.34 or later."
with ldd --version you can check your glibc version. I checked it afterwards an it is indeed 2.34-0ubuntu3

This just bit me today. Was trying to fix citirix workspaces in general, which was working yesterday, but occasionally just stops doing anything when launching from the dash - no errors, nothing, and needs a reinstall to magically fix. Today the reinstall didn't fix it, so I tried reinstalling with the AppProtection turned on with a wild guess that someone at the server end required more security. That was a bad guess. Had to do the live usb and mount filesystem and remove that lib as mentioned above.

This was on an existing Ubuntu 21.10 install.
