Bug Description

# What I do:
Inside of WSL Community Preview, run:
```
sudo do-release-upgrade
```

Type in `y` for yes.

# What happens:
```
Fetched 0 B in 0s (0 B/s)
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done

Restoring original system state

Aborting
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done

Have you attempted any of the wsl workarounds dealing with snapd?
If you can still open a prompt try running:
sudo apt remove --purge snapd && sudo apt-mark hold snapd && sudo do-release-upgrade

That worked.

Both purge and hold were required to make it work.
Just purge and `do-release-upgrade` did not work.

User patrick330602 mentioned that he has submitted a fix.

I'm guessing there's another issue open for this already although I don't know where it is.
